1. How do I get started?
Simply register and begin donating today. We require minimal personal information to register. You may also provide more detailed information and elect to receive year-end contribution receipts for tax purposes. You can also register using Facebook Connect.
2. Can I purchase KULA donation credits? How?
You bet! You can purchase donation credits here and support the causes you care about.
3. Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes—100% tax deductible! And when you register, you’ll have the option to receive charitable donation receipts for year-end tax purposes.
4. How do I find causes to support?
Visit Find Causes & Donate to search for causes, browse by cause category and discover causes in your local area.
5. Do nonprofits receive 100% of the donation?
Yes! There is an 8% PayPal & processing fee for every donation, but 100% of your base donation goes to the cause you choose. For example, when you make a $10 donation, you will be charged $10.80—and the nonprofit receives the full $10.
6. Oops! I donated to the wrong cause. Can I get a refund?
Once you’ve confirmed your donation there is no way to reverse it. We do have a two-step confirmation process when you donate so that you can be sure—really sure!
7. Is my information private and secure?
Absolutely. We take your privacy and security very seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy for further information.
8. How do I update my information?
Log in to your account, click on My Dashboard, and then again on My Profile— you can update all of your information there.
9. How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your account, send an email to cancel@kulacauses.com. Keep in mind, you must send your cancel request from the same email address you use to log in to KULA. If you registered with your Facebook account, please send your cancel request from the email address associated with your Facebook account.
